The XF kester solder bar 63 37 is a solder consiting of 63% and 37% lead by weight respectively. We use pure tin and lead to produce this solder bar. This is the eutectic alloy of tin and lead with melting point and 183C, the lowest melting point among all the tin/lead kester solder bar.
What is the application of XF kester solder bar 63 37?
There are two applications of kester solder bar 63 37:
First application: the kester solder bar 63 37 is used for soldering of electronic components. The kester solder bars will be put into solder bath and melted down to liquidus status, then the components will be dipped into the solder bath (not the whole piece, just the part that needs to be soldered) to get bulk soldering, this type of technology is called dip soldering which used kester solder bar 63 37; While another more advanced way is to use wave solder machine to do the soldering, it's same that the solder bar 63 37 will be melted down in solder bath too, but the wave solder machine will automatically apply the flux and move the components of PCB to the solder bath and be wave soldered, everything is done automatically comparing to dip soldering generally is done manually.
